PPRECYCLED PACKING BANDRecovered PP strapping and clear folders are recycled and compounded with 5% GW. Prototypes are being evaluated with the aim of matching virgin-material tensile strength at the same thickness.

Beyond a high recycled-content percentage, we develop stretch film while checking wrapping performance, elongation, load retention and tack for use in logistics.

PREPARING FOR PPWR
With the recycled-content and recyclability requirements of the EU PPWR in view, we are preparing not only products but also the supporting information and documentation.
Organise the share of recycled material in the product and the method used to calculate and verify it.
Connect information from collected film through recycled feedstock and film production to support traceability.
Confirm thickness, tensile properties, elongation, tack, storage stability and other application-specific items.
Review required labelling, self-declarations and technical documentation, and prepare submission materials.
We do not currently claim that the product is ‘PPWR compliant.’ We are confirming scope, calculation methods, labelling and technical documentation while preparing and evaluating our 60% recycled-content stretch film.
